My Why

Two men once stood among a crowd of people, telling stories of Jesus. They were not stories these men had read in a book. They were stories of events these men had seen with their own eyes. Many people listened and believed that Jesus was the Messiah, the Chosen One, the hope of the world.
Some people listened and became angry. They arrested these men and told them not to speak about Jesus again.
But Peter and John answered them, “Whether it’s right in the sight of God [for us] to listen to you rather than to God, you decide; for we are unable to stop speaking about what we have seen and heard.” (Acts 4:19, 20 HCSB)
This is my why…. because I have been given grace, because I have experienced freedom, because I have seen and felt the hand of God, I cannot stop speaking about what I have seen and heard.
